#1 – Here It Goes

So, I’m already feeling tired. I prob ably got a total of 2-3 hours of shitty sleep last night, and that was it. And I just found out that most of my caffeine source was drank already. And the person I hoped would keep me company all night had already made plans. So it looks like it’s up to me and my sheer willpower. Oh, and I guess my other good friend, who would probably give me shit if I didn’t mention him. Thanks, buddy ;)

Well, I popped in Chasing Amy to start off the night of enjoyment. I have a huge stack of movies and it’s going to be non-stop theater over here.

Speaking of sleep, though. Does anyone ever have a comfortable sleeping position one night, only to find out it’s the most uncomfortable thing ever the next? It’s happened to me several times over the last few nights, and it’s starting to become disturbing. This got me thinking even further. What part of us defines comfort? It’s obviously not hardwired into us, using me as prime evidence. If the brain creates comfort based on muscle relaxation and tension, then is there an ultimate comfort position, where all muscles that need to be more relaxed are? And those too relaxed aren’t being pushed further? Is comfort measurable? Can we define 20% comfort level..30%..100%?

That’s my random thought for the 11 o’clock blog. Only a few left to go…right?

Phew, it feels good to start this already!
